Suryakumar Yadav, Pandya Powers MI To 193/4
Suryakumar Yadav hit his highest individual score of 79* as Mumbai Indians finish at 193/4 in the first innings against Rajasthan Royals.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first. MI scored 57 runs in the powerplay and lost one wicket only. Both the Mumbai openers, Quinton de Kock(23) and Rohit Sharma(35), had good starts but couldn't capitalize on them.
Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya added 76 runs in 38 balls for the fifth wicket after losing quick wickets during the middle overs. Yadav smashed 11 fours and 2 sixes during his innings of 79 not out off 47 balls. Hardik Pandya played a cameo 30 runs in 19 balls.
For Rajasthan Royals, Shreyas Gopal was the pick of the bowlers who took two wickets in his four overs giving away 28 runs.
