India and England are scheduled to play a day/night test match in Ahmedabad from 24th February. India on Tuesday leveled the four-match test series 1-1 after they beat England by 317 runs at Chennai.

The match ended on day 4 itself resulting in players getting one extra day to prepare for the pink ball test. However, as soon as the match ended in the second session of the day, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and batsman Cheteshwar Pujara were seen practicing with the pink ball.

Net bowlers Shahbaz Nadeem, Rahul Chahar, and K Gowtham were bowling to the two batsmen under the watchful eyes of batting coach Vikram Rathour and fielding coach R Sridhar.

Pandya has so far not played in this series against England. Pujara, on the other hand, hasn't had a great series with the bat in the two matches he has played.

Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was also seen bowling with the pink ball for a short time as reported by sportstar. Allrounder Washington Sundar was also part of the practice nets along with wicket-keeper Wridhiman Saha.

The third and fourth test match will be played in the newly constructed Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera. With a seating capacity of over 1,00,000, the stadium is the biggest in India. BCCI has confirmed that the stadium will be filled with a 50% crowd.

"Ahmedabad is totally sold out for the day-night Test match because it's the first game there after a long period," BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said.
