IND vs NZ: In a tour where rain played the spoilsport for most of the games, it destroyed the moods of all cricket fans for one final team as the 3rd ODI has been called off due to rain. New Zealand were at 104/1 in 18 overs while chasing 220 when the rain caused the game to stop.

Chasing 220, New Zealand got off to a sturdy start as the openers added 97 runs in 16.2 overs. Finn Allen was the only batter to be dismissed, going for 57 runs in 54 balls with 8 fours & a six. Devon Conway (38 off 51) and Kane Williamson (0* off 3) were at the crease when the match stopped.

For the DLS method to be applied, ICC rules state that at least 20 overs should be played. The DLS par score for New Zealand at 20 overs would have been 98 runs, but since they played only 18 overs, the match was abandoned without any result.

In the tour of 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs, 3 matches have now been called off due to rain, while a tie was produced in the 3rd T20I via the DLS method. Out of the remaining 2 matches, India and New Zealand won 1 match each. India took the T20I series 1-0 while New Zealand won the ODI series 1-0.

In the first innings, Pacer Adam Milne got rid of top-order batter orders as New Zealand halted India to 219 in the 3rd ODI. New Zealand will clinch the series 2-0 with a win in this ODI.

After openers started off cautiously, adding 39 runs for the 1st wicket, Adam Milne got rid of in-form opener Shubman Gill (13) in the 9th over. From thereon, none of the other partnerships etched more than 30 runs.

Shikhar Dhawan looked to get steady on the crease with his 45-ball-28 run knock before Milne got him as well, cleaned up in the 13th over. Shreyas Iyer, who top scored for team India in the 1st ODI, continued his good run as he scored 49 runs before Devon Conway grabbed an excellent catch on Lockie Ferguson to dismiss the batter.

RIshabh Pant (10) continued his dismayed run while Suryakumar Yadav also failed to show up in the 50-over format, scoring 6 runs before getting dismissed by Milne. Towards the end, Washington Sundar held the crease as he scored a half-century to take India across the 200-run mark. Sundar scored 51 runs off 64 balls with 5 fours & a six.

For New Zealand, Adam Milne & Daryl Mitchell grabbed three wickets each while Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson and Mitchell Santner managed 1 wicket each as India were bowled out in 47.3 overs.
