WATCH: Travis Head Smacks A Thunderous Ton Against Pakistan In 1st ODI
PAK vs AUS 1st ODI: Travis Head has been in phenomenal form since late and has continued it as he smacked 101 runs against Pakistan in the 1st ODI.
The 28-year old left-handed batter opened the innings for Australia who were batting first. Along with captain Aaron Finch, Head etched a partnership of 110 runs off just 88 balls to get Australia off to a good start.
Travis Head smacked 101 runs in 72 balls with 12 fours and 3 sixes to put Pakistan bowlers under pressure in the 1st ODI. In the partnership of 110 runs with captain Aaron Finch, Head added 77 runs in 52 balls while Aaron Finch added just 23 runs in 36 balls, playing the role of the anchor and bringing Head on strike to take on the Pak bowlers.
This was Head's just second ODI century in the 43 matches he has played in his career. However, Head was dismissed by Iftikhar Ahmed after completing his century. On the last ball of the 25th over, Head danced down the track to smack the ball but failed to go through with the shot completely and Khushdil, fielding at long-off ran forward to complete the catch.

Talking about the match, Australia are at 196/2 in 30.1 overs. Ben McDermott and Marnus Labuschagne are at the crease for Australia who were asked to bat first by the Pakistan team. This match is being played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
