Umesh Yadav Wreaks Havoc In England, Scalps 5 Wickets At 3.53 Economy; Watch Video Here

Team India's star bowler Umesh Yadav is gathering traction while playing for Middlesex in the Royal London One-Day Cup. On Sunday (August 7th), Middlesex faced off against Durham, where Umesh Yadav wreaked havoc with his fiery bowling against English batters and picked up a 5-fer to take his team to a tremendous victory. 

The English conditions have been favouring the Indian pacer and Umesh has beautifully utilised the conditions and toyed with the English batters with his speed. Umesh bowled 9.2 overs against Durham during which the 34-year-old maintained an economy of 3.53 and registered 5 wickets to his name. 

Umesh Yadav gave away just 33 runs in the match and sent half of the opposition back to the pavilion. Durham batters seemed helpless against the Indian bowler. Umesh Yadav picked up the first Durham wicket and the last wicket of the opposition. Opener Graham Clark, captain Scott Borthwick, Liam Trevaskis, and tail-enders Oliver Gibson & Christopher Rushworth. During this, Umesh clean bowled 3 of the players to send them back to the pavilion.

It may be possible that this performance by Umesh Yadav may open doors for his selection to the Indian team. Umesh is bowling well in England and has asserted good coordination with the conditions. The selectors would surely keep this in mind the next time the Indian team tours England.
