After winning IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings have set their eyes on IPL 2022 and the team management has already started gearing up even before the auction. Chennai Super Kings have started investing in their youth and they have started building on it as well. 

Chennai Super Kings have called up a 24-year old batter who has already smashed 24 sixes in his short T20 career. This talented batter is Odisha's captain in domestic cricket - Subhranshu Senapati. 

Subhranshu has been called by CSK for a selection trial and the same has been confirmed by Odisha Cricket. In his recent outings, Subhranshu has performed fantastically in Vijay Hazare Trophy & Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and this is the prime motive behind Chennai checking out the youngster.

Subhranshu was the top scorer for Odisha in Vijay Hazare Trophy, as he smacked 275 runs in 5 matches, with a century & a fifty. While in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, the batter registered 138 runs in 5 matches with 7 sixes & 5 fours. Overall, Subhranshu's T20 stats are 637 runs in 24 matches, with 24 sixes and 50 fours.
