VIDEO: Asghar Afghan Gives Emotional Speech After Batting For The Final Time In International Cricket
Former Afghanistan captain, Asghar Afghan, batted for the last time in international cricket today against Namibia in the 27th match of the T20 World Cup. Asghar had announced his retirement in a sudden manner yesterday.
The final innings had to be a special one as he smashed 31 runs from 23 balls with the help of three fours and a six. As soon as Ruben Trumpelmann got him out, Namibian players congratulated him on his successful career and didn't celebrate his wicket.
Afghan was given a special guard of owner by his teammates at the boundary ropes.

After the first innings finisher, Afghan was asked to speak and while thanking the Afghanistan fans in his native language, Asghar got emotional and started crying. After finishing his speech, he once again got emotional and got a hug from the commentator.
