VIDEO: History Created In BBL, McDermott Smashes Six To Score Back-To-Back Centuries
Scoring a T20 century is one of the toughest things to do and doing it in back-to-back innings is a thing of wonder. Ben McDermott has been in dashing form this BBL season and everything is going right for him.
In the 26th match of the Big Bash League(BBL), Hurricanes were asked to bat first by Melbourne Renegades. McDermott gave a terrific start to the innings despite losing Mathew Wade and D'Arcy early.
McDermott continued from where he left in the last match and smacked the Melbourne bowlers all around the park. He reached 95 runs in just 52 balls in the 16th over but didn't need to slow down to safely reach his century.
McDermott smacked Kane Richardson six over point and became only the second player in the BBL history to score two back-to-back centuries.
