IPL 2021 Final CSK Vs KKR: In the final match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders being played in Dubai, Shubman Gill was adjudged catch out but the replay shows the ball deflecting off the spider cam and Gill survived.

In the 10th over bowled by Ravindra Jadeja, Shubman Gill played a shot up in the air and the ball was caught by Ambati Rayudu at deep mid-wicket. Gill went for a big slog across the line, the ball gripped just a touch but was miscued by Gill. Rayudu ran in, put his hand in front of his eyes as he probably lost it in the light, but then managed to take the catch.

However, in the replay, it was revealed that the ball clipped the spider cam cable, so it was adjudged a dead ball. This drama lasted for about 5 minutes with Gill still on the field. In the end, he survived and left Jadeja & CSK agonized.
