In the ongoing 3rd T20I match between India & New Zealand, India got off to a great start after opting to bat first. Openers Rohit Sharma & Ishan Kishan added 69 runs in 6 overs. Kishan was dismissed in the 7th over by the NZ captain Mitchell Santner. However, skipper Rohit Sharma held one end and smashed a fifty.

In the 12th over, every player and spectator was stunned, including & especially Rohit Sharma. Ish Sodhi, who was bowling his 3rd over of the spell, took a one-handed blinder to dismiss dangerous-looking Rohit Sharma. This was India's 4th wicket loss.

On the second delivery of the over, Sodhi bowled a fuller one wide of the crease. Rohit Sharma shimmied down the track, and smacked it back towards the umpire. However, Sodhi had read Rohit's intentions and stuck his right hand out. The ball had almost gone past the spinner but he was able to hold it and complete the blinder.

Rohit Sharma scored 56 runs off 31 balls with 5 fours & 3 sixes at this game being played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Ro'hitman' Sharma has an impeccable record at the Eden Gardens and can be called and continued to score the fifty in this match. However, he'd be disappointed as he didn't carry his innings on and work toward a huge team total.
