VIDEO: Mohammad Shami Completes 200 Test Wickets; Picks Up His Sixth 5-fer
South Africa vs India: In the ongoing test match between South Africa & India, India have got this match in their grasp as they have asserted a first-inning lead of 197 runs. Mohammad Shami played a huge part as he picked up 5 wickets today.
In the 62nd over of the South African innings, Shami, who already had picked up 4 wickets - Markram (13), Petersen (15), Bavuma (52) & Mulder (12), surprised Kagiso Rabada with a bit of swing.
The South African bowler was looking comfortable while batting until this delivery by Mohammad Shami. Shami delivered the ball back of a length on off and round the wicket. The ball straightened a bit as the ball took Rabada's bat's edge and flew to wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. Rabada was dismissed after scoring 25 runs with 3 fours & 1 six.
With this wicket, not only did Mohammad Shami complete his 6th 5-fer in international test cricket, he also completed 200 wickets in test cricket. Shami has achieved this feat in 55 matches, averaging 27.10.

While talking about the match, India managed to post 327/10 in the first innings after opting to bat first. KL Rahul scored 123 while Lungi Ngidi picked up 6 wickets. In reply, South Africa were restricted to 197/10 courtesy of 5-fer from Mohammad Shami. India now lead by 132 runs as the batters come to the middle to bat out the last 30 minutes of the day's play.
