In the 41st match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, in the Super 12 stage, Pakistan scored 189 runs while batting first against Scotland. At one point, it seemed Pakistan would struggle to reach 150 but in the last over, Shoiab Malik brought about a storm that took Scotland away with it.

Malik played a thunderous knock of 54* runs in 18 balls. In this innings, Malik smashed 6 huge sixes. Shoaib Malik especially targeted Scottish spinner, Chris Greaves. The Scottish captain surprised everyone by giving the last over to Greaves.

Kyle Coetzer soon enough realised it was a huge mistake to give the last over of the innings to a spinner. In this over, Malik smacked a total of 26 runs, including 3 sixes. With this, ace Pak all-rounder not only completed his half-century but took his team's total to a gigantic score of 189.

Pakistan has not lost a single match in this tournament so far and it looks like they will go ahead without losing the league stage of this tournament. However, which team will face Pakistan in the semi-finals, it will be known only after the match against Scotland.
