Video: Virat Kohli Makes A Blunder At The Toss During The 3rd T20I

Virat Kohli had a good outing with the bat in the 3rd T20I against England on Tuesday as he scored a 77* to take India to a fighting total of 156 after yet another top-order failure. Yet, he started the match with an awkward moment at the toss. 

England's captain Eoin Morgan had won the toss and opted to field first. While chatting with Murali Karthik at the toss, Virat Kohli got the scoreline of the series completely wrong. 

“It’s good that the series is poised in a way where we’re 2-1 up,” Kohli said. 

It might be because of the dominating win in the 2nd T20I that Kohli must felt that India was indeed 2-1 up in the series yet the story drastically changed in a few hours. England defeated India in the 3rd T20I and the scoreline got to 2-1, but in the favor of the visitors.
