SL vs PAK 1st test: The first test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan is being played at Galle International Stadium, Galle. In this match, Sri Lanka opted to bat first after winning the toss, which proved very fatal for the hosts. The Lankan team was bowled out for 222 runs in the first innings. Dinesh Chandimal was the top scorer for the Sri Lanka team, but Yasir Shah took an excellent catch airborne to send Chandimal back to the pavilion.

Yasir Shah is primarily a leg break spinner. At Galle also, Yasir showed his worth with the ball and spun a magical web. In the first innings, Yasir Shah gave away 53 runs while grabbing 2 big Sri Lankan wickets. However, after this the 36-year-old showed amazing fielding skills and the way he sent Dinesh Chandimal back to the pavilion, lit up the eyes of the spectators.

This unbelievable catch by Yasir Shah was seen in the 55th over of Sri Lanka's inning. Hasan Ali was bowling this over for Pakistan. Sri Lanka had lost 8 wickets till this over and Dinesh Chandimal had no other option than to attack the Pakistani bowlers. On the 5th delivery of the over, Hasan Ali bowled the delivery outside the off-stump line. Chandimal played a cracking shot towards cover, but couldn't connect with the ball well enough.

After contacting the bat, the ball went straight in the fielder Yasir Shah's direction. Yasir Shah reacted almost instantaneously without wasting any time and went airborne to grab an unbelievable catch, surprising one and all watching. A video of the same has surfaced on social media and is being shared in numbers by cricket fans.
