WATCH: Harmanpreet Kaur Lights Up The Stadium With 6,6,4 In Women's T20 Challenge Final
In the final match of Women's T20 Challenge 2022 between Supernovas and Velocity, Supernovas captain Harmanpreet Kaur displayed an aggressive and explosive batting display as she scored 43 runs for her team. During her inning, Harmanpreet didn't spare any Velocity bowler and displayed her power hitting. Against Radha Yadav, Harman went berserk as she rained consecutive boundaries in an over.
In this decisive contest, Harmanpreet in an effort to win the title for her team didn't back down against Velocity bowlers. The skipper played 29 deliveries and with the help of a four & 3 sixes scored 43 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur maintained a strike rate of around 148 during her inning. When Radha Yadav came on to bowl against Harman, the batter looked to dominate the bowler.
This happened in the 14th over of the innings. Harmanpreet was brought on strike on the second delivery of the over and looked comfortable while her stay at the crease and in a good batting rhythm. The Supernovas captain maintained her aggressive approach against Radha Yadav and went down on her knees to slog sweep the second delivery of the over for a six over deep mid-wicket.
Radha decided to change her angle and went around the stumps after conceding a six. However, it didn't have any effect on Harmanpreet Kaur and continued her display of power and she smacked the next delivery over long-on for another six. Harmanpreet went yet again for another slog sweep on the following delivery and collected four runs. Radha Yada had an obvious disappointing look on her face after conceding 18 runs in the over.

Earlier, Velocity captain Deepti Sharma won the toss & opted to field first against Supernovas in the Final of the Women's T20 Challenge 2022. Supernovas posted a total of 165 in their quota of 20 overs in the first innings. For Supernovas, Deandra Dottin was the top scorer with her knock of 63 runs. For Velocity, Kate Cross, Deepti Sharma & Simran Bahadur picked up 2 wickets each while Ayabonga Khaka picked up 1 wicket. Velocity needs to chase down 166 runs in 20 overs to win the title.
