Ishan Kishan has been in brilliant form in this India vs South Africa series. He's the only batter to score more than 200 runs in this five-match series. In each game, Kishan gave terrific starts to the team, and even in the fifth T20I, Ishan didn't shy to attack the bowlers from the first over itself.

The fifth T20I had a delayed start due to heavy rains in Bangalore. India were asked to bat first in the 19-over per side match and the openers had to begin their attack early.

Stand-in captain Keshav Maharaj, a slow left-arm spinner, decided to bowl himself in the first over against left-handed Ishan, who also has been India's best batter this series. Ishan had everything in his favor and made sure he fully used it.

After playing the first ball safely, Kishan swept the second ball for a six over mid-wicket. While one may think Maharaj mistakenly overpitched that ball, he did the same mistake on the next ball as well and Ishan had no problem sending the ball in the same region again for a six.

On the next ball, Maharaj dropped it short and Kishan swung hard over the point region and got two more runs. The first over in total saw 16 runs being scored as India got things going quite early.
