WATCH: Kishan Gets Dismissed For 13 After Finally Getting A Chance; Drakes Gets The Opening Wicket For West Indies
WI vs IND - Team India have been changing their openers in flux recently. After Rohit & Surykumar opened the Indian innings for the first 4 T20Is, Ishan Kishan, who was benched for these matches, was finally given a chance to play in the 5th T20I against West Indies. However, the young explosive batter failed to capitalize as he was dismissed after scoring just 11 runs.
In the absence of Rohit Sharma & Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer opened the innings for team India in the 5th T20I. The openers added 38 runs in the first 4.2 overs cautiously.
Dominic Drakes was bowling the 5th over of the Indian innings. The West Indian pacer cramped Ishan Kishan with the line. The pull shot was there to play but the ball seemed to have held on to the surface a little. Ishan Kishan managed the cue-end of the bat and the catch was completed at mid-on by Windies captain Nicholas Pooran.
This was the first wicket down for team India as Ishan Kishan walked back to the pavilion after scoring 11 runs in 13 balls with a four.
