High catches are hard to take and when the shot is hardly struck it becomes more difficult to hold onto these catches. However, professional cricketers make sure they practice these well to eventually catch these when the moment comes in the match.

In the 3rd ODI against South Africa, Shreyas Iyer demonstrated a brilliant example of how to quickly judge a catch - running distance, anticipating the dip, and agility to dive while on the run.

Rassie Van der Dussen has been one tough nut to crack for India in the tour of South Africa. They weren't able to get him out throughout the ODI series until today and it took a brilliant catch to do it.

Van der Dussen slog-swept Yuzvendra Chahal towards square leg. Shreyas Iyer was standing at the deep mid-wicket and had to run a long distance to reach for the catch. He even had to dive and roll to remain in balance.

Iyer managed it all as India finally got rid of Van der Dussen, who ended the ODI series with a whopping average of 218 in three matches.
