WATCH: Smriti Mandhana Gets Mankaded; Argues With Rajasthan Players
Smriti Mandhana is one of the top Indian cricketers at the moment not only in the country but globally. The 25-year-old Mandhana is also in consideration to be the captain of the Indian women's team.
During the break in the international cricket calendar, Mandhana is back playing domestic cricket for her state team Maharashtra in the ongoing Senior Women's T20 League.
During today's match between Maharashtra and Rajasthan, an incident happened that saw a rare face of Mandhana - the angry one.
After Maharashtra restricted Rajasthan to 102/7 in the first inning, Mandhana gave a good start to her team in the run chase. She scored 28 runs with the help of three fours and a six. In the ninth over of the game, Mandhana was runout.
Rajasthan's KP Choudhary saw Smriti Mandhana backing up at the non-strikers' end and ran her out at the next opportunity she got.
Mandhana was furious with the mode of her dismissal and was seen having a heated exchange with some of the Rajasthan players including bowler KP Choudhary and captain Jasia Akhtar. This happened while the decision was referred to the third umpire before being eventually given out.

Mandhana walked back to the pavillion disappointedly. Maharashtra, however, won the match by eight wickets in the 19th over.
