WATCH: 'Superwoman' Deandra Dottin Claims Catch Of The Tournament Spot
Fielding is one of the most challenging tasks in cricket. It takes a lot to get to the ball at the right moment. Interestingly, every field position possesses a different challenge, and being at the Point is a specialist job just like being in the slips.
The ball at the Point position comes very fast and doesn't give much time to the fielder to react since the batter smashes the ball hard in that region. While even stopping the ball is an achievement in most cases, plucking a diving catch is a superhuman effort.
During the West Indies vs England World Cup match today, Deandra Dottin grabbed one of the best catches of all time while fielding at Point.
On the first ball of the eighth over, Dottin was seen flying towards her left to catch Lauren Winfield Hill's shot. It was a hard hit shot that was going in the air but was a bit far from the reach of the point, or was it?

Dottin jumped, stretched her arms, and grabbed the ball which was going fast to give West Indies the breakthrough. Interestingly, Dottin had dropped Winfield Hill two overs earlier in the same region which was a relatively simpler chance.
