MI vs DC IPL 2022: Mumbai Indians made selection blunders throughout the tournament, one of which was yet again exposed in their last game against Delhi Capitals. Singapore cricketer Tim David, who was benched after just a few games, came back with all his might and in the game against DC, continued his form and took Mumbai to a winning position in the match.

After the batter was given a lifeline in the 15th over by Shardul Thakur, where Rishabh Pant didn't go for a review after David faintly edged it to DC captain and wicket-keeper. It was the first bowl Tim David was facing. After that, there was no stopping him. David smacked the last delivery of the over by Shardul for a six to get off the mark.

On the last delivery of the next over by Nortje, David smacked another four, bringing the equation to 46 runs in 4 overs. In the next over, David managed a four & a six each against Khaleel Ahmed.

Shardul Thakur came on to bowl the 18th over, where David threw the opposition away. The right-handed batter smacked two sixes in the over before getting out on the 5th delivery. However, the equation had come down to 15 runs in 13 deliveries, where Ramandeep (13*) easily completed the job for MI.

Tim David scored 34 runs in 11 deliveries with 2 fours & 4 sixes at a strike rate of 309.09, playing a match-winning knock for MI to register a win in their last match this season, stopping DC from qualifying for the playoffs and putting RCB through.
