WATCH: Virat Kohli's Rotten Luck Continues, Gets Runout Again
Virat Kohli hasn't been scoring big runs for a while now and looking at the way he gets out makes you think is it a poor form or just a bit of luck that is missing from the star batter's life.
In the IPL 2022 itself, Kohli got runout vs Rajasthan Royals at the score of five when he had a miscommunication with David Willey and got out on the non-strikers end after he was sent back from half pitch by the batter.
Against Mumbai Indians, Kohli had almost finished the game. He was playing at 48 when a controversial LBW decision ended his inning.
Now, against Delhi Capitals, Kohli again had a tough-luck on his side.
In the second ball of the 7th over, Kohli pushed the good length delivery from Shardul Thakur towards the point region. It is generally a very busy area where Kohli almost always tries to sneak in a single.
However, this time, Lalit Yadav ran quickly to grab the ball. Kohli tapped the ball and ran four-five steps forward but Glenn Maxwell sent him back watching Lalit dashing towards the ball quickly.
Kohli reacted quickly and turned back to try and get back into the crease. However, Lalit's throw was pinpoint accurate. Kohli slid the bat but simultaneously, the ball hit the stumps.
On replay, it was shown that Kohli was short of the crease by a few inches and had to go back to the pavilion with another low score - 12 off 14 balls.
