DC vs RCB IPL 2022: Virat Kohli although has been riding on bad luck too long now to put it on luck, his fitness has been second to none of the players till now. Against Delhi Capitals, the former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain showed a similar display as he extraordinarily took the opposition skipper's catch and win the match.
After the second delivery of the 17th over, DC were at 142/5 while chasing 190, requiring another 48 runs in 22 balls. However, Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant was at the crease on 34* in 16 deliveries, having already smacked 3 fours and 2 sixes, one of the six was smacked just a delivery earlier.
Rishabh looked in dangerous touch and it seemed like he'd take the game away from RCB. However, on the third delivery of the 17th over, being bowled by Mohammad Siraj, Pant went off-balance while trying to make room, and sliced the full toss delivery towards cover. Even though the delivery wasn't that good, Virat, fielding inside the circle, leapt into the air as he caught a one-handed stunner with his right hand.
With this catch, VK ended the match for Rishabh Pant as well as his team Delhi Capitals. The crowd went nuts after this excellent fielding display and Virat even waved towards his better half, cheering for him from the stands at Wankhede.
