WATCH: West Indies Smash World Record 25 Runs In The Super Over Against South Africa
The rain-hit 2nd ODI between West Indies Women and South Africa ended in a thrilling tie at the end of the 41 overs where both teams ended up scoring 160 runs and the match went into the super over.
West Indies had to bat first and they sent in Deandra Dottin, who had scored an unbeaten 150 in the 1st ODI, and Hayley Matthews at the crease facing Shabnim Ismail.
Dottin took the strike and took two runs on the first ball. On the second ball, Dottin scooped the ball for a boundary towards the fine leg and in the following delivery, smashed the short ball towards the straight boundary for another four.
On the fourth delivery, Dotting hit the ball hard into the air that went straight into the stands for a six. On the fifth ball, West Indies stole three runs. On the last ball, Mathews was on strike and she hooked the ball towards mid-wicket for a six.
West Indies smashed 25 runs in the super over - the highest score in a super over by any team across genders in international cricket.

South Africa tried hard but they could only manage 17 runs in their six balls as West Indies took the lead in the four-match ODI series.
