WATCH: Yash Dhull Goes Down The Track And Smacks A Six In The U19 WC Semi-Final

In the 2nd semi-final of the ICC U19 World Cup 2022, the India U19 team defeated Australia U19 by 96 runs at Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua, and advanced to the finals of the U19 World Cup for a consecutive 4th time. India scored 290/5 in the first innings, courtesy of captain Yash Dhull's 110 and vice-captain Shaik Rasheed's 94.

Yash Dhull played a captain's knock while coming in at 27/2, and joined forces with Sheik Rasheed to stitch a 204 runs partnership. Dhull became the 3rd Indian captain to score a century in the U19 World Cup, after Virat Kohli and Unmukt Chand. 

The 19-year old scored 110 runs off 110 balls, including ten fours and a six. This six by Yash Dhull was a treat for all the fans, as he displayed skills and timing while advancing down the track. Moreover, this shot was special as the Indian skipper smacked it against Tom Whitney, a pacer!

While talking about the match, Indian captain Yash Dhull won the toss and surprised everyone with the decision to bat first. India scored 290/5 due to Yash Dhull's ton and Rasheed's 94. In reply, Indian bowlers Vicky Ostwal, Ravi Kumar, Nishant Sindhu and others completed India U19's 6th victory over Australia U19 in U19 World Cups. India will now face England in the U19 World Cup final 2022 on 5th February (Saturday). The match will be played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua.
