West Indies beat South Africa in tri-series opener

West Indies defeated South Africa by four wickets in the first match of the Tri-Nation One-Day International series at the Guyana National Stadium on Friday.

Toss - South Africa Won the Toss & elected to Bat First

South Africa Innings - The team was going strong with 3/160 but a devastating spell by West Indies spinner Sunil Naraine reduced the tourist to 188/10 in 46.5 overs. For South Africa, Rilee Rossouw remained top scorer with 61. Naraine took career best 6/27.

West Indies Innings - Kieron Pollard scored unbeaten run a ball 67 to guide his team to a 4 wicket victory.

Man of the Match - Sunil Narine

Brief Scorecard - South Africa 188 all out off 46.5 overs; West Indies 191 for six off 48.1 overs.
