World Test Championship: Latest WTC Points Table After ENG vs NZ 3rd Test & WI vs BAN 2nd Test

After England completed a clean sweep against New Zealand in an exciting 3-match test series, where the hosts England showed complete dominance under the new management of coach McCullum and captain Ben Stokes. 

Before the series against the Kiwis, England had managed just 1 win in the ongoing WTC cycle. However, under the new leadership, the English showed a different approach as they clean swept the defending World Test Champions New Zealand. England have now taken over New Zealand and have moved from 8th to 7th position on the WTC Points Table. 

West Indies on the other hand, also completed a 2-0 clean sweep against tourists Bangladesh in the 2-match test series. However, they remained in the 6th spot, still behind Pakistan on PCT %. 

In the second test, the hosts Windies won the toss and opted to bowl first, and went on to restrict Bangladesh to 234 in the first innings. For Bangladesh, Litton Das was the top scorer with 53 runs while Jayden Seales and Alzarri Joseph picked up 3 wickets each for West Indies. Anderson Phillip and K Mayers contributed with 2 wickets each. 

In reply, the West Indies posted 408 runs, with a tremendous knock of 146 runs from Kyle Mayers while batting at #6. For Bangladesh, Khaled Ahmed picked up a 5-fer. Bangladesh were restricted to 186 in their second innings and West Indies scored 13 runs in the 4th innings, winning the match by 10 wickets and completing a 2-0 clean sweep.
