Cricketers with over 50,000 runs in first class cricket
Oct.1 (CRICKETNMORE) - Only seven Cricketers in the history of first class game has scored over 50,000 runs. Interestingly, all seven players belongs to England and played for the national team also.
Sir Jack Hobbs of England tops the list of most runs in first class cricket. Known as "The Master", he is regarded by critics as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket. Apart from being the leading run-scorer with 61,760 runs, he is also the leading century-maker in first-class cricket with 199 centuries.
