Here is the list of players whose performance earned them man of the match award in the ICC World T20 finals:

In the inaugural ICC World T20 final, India's Irfan Pathan magical spell against Pakistan earned him the Man of the Match award. He took 3/16 from 4 overs.

Pakistan's Shahid Afridi allround performance against Sri Lanka made him the man of the match in the final of 2009 T20 World Cup. Afridi first smashed 54 runs in 40 balls and later took a wicket against.

In 2010 T20 World Cup final, Craig Kieswetter of England scored 63 runs in 49 balls against Australia to won the Man of the Match.

In 2011 T20 World Cup final, Marlon Samuels of West Indies scored 78 runs and took a wicket. He was awared Man of the Match for his allround performance.

Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka played the macth winning knock of 52 runs against India in 2014 T20 World Cup final/ He scored these runs in just 35 balls. He was awared man of the match.
