2) James Anderson's 900 Wickets -
Veteran England fast bowler James Anderson is just two scalps away from reaching the milestone of 900 international wickets. Anderson will become the first English and sixth bowler overall to reach this milestone. So far, Muttiah Muralitharan (1347), Shane Warne (1001), Anil Kumble (956), Glenn McGrath (949), and Wasim Akram(916) have done this deed.
3) Anderson Set To Overtake Anil Kumble -
So far, James Anderson has 611 test wickets to his name. If he succeeds in picking nine more wickets, Anderson will overtake former Indian spinner, Anil Kumble(619 wickets) to become the third-highest wicket-taker in the test cricket.
4) Ishant Sharma's 100th Test Match -
Veteran Indian pacer Ishant Sharma is set to play his 100th test match in the upcoming pink ball test. He will become the 11th cricketer and only the second fast bowler from India to play 100 test matches. Before him, Sachin Tendulkar (200), Rahul Dravid (163), VSK Laxman (134), Anil Kumble (132), Kapil Dev (131), Sunil Gavaskar (125), Dilip Vengsarkar (116), Sourav Ganguly (113), Harbhajan Singh (103), Virender Sehwag (103) have done this.
