This year also, they have a team that can win the tournament. Batting Line Up backed by the experience of Virat Kohli & AB de Villiers, to bowlers who possess the ability to provide a breakthrough anytime, like Yuzvendra Chahal & Kyle Jamieson.

RCB’s strength in IPL 2021 would definitely be its batting unit. Virat Kohli has amassed an impressive 5,878 runs in 192 matches at an average of 38.16 & strike rate of 130.73. It has been confirmed that he’ll open the innings for RCB this IPL with Devdutt Padikkal. Padikkal caught eyes in the last season after scoring 473 runs, with five 50+ scores at a strike rate of 124.80 while opening for RCB. Apart from these two RCB has AB de Villiers, Joshua Phillipe, Glenn Maxwell, Uncapped Wonder Boy Mohammed Azharuddeen. Sachin Baby and Dan Christian are also making their return to the RCB side.
In the bowling department, RCB has bought the most expensive buy of IPL 2021 auction Kyle Jamieson. However, their bowling attack can be termed inexperience and even weak. Kyle Jamieson hasn’t played a single T20 match in India, while Kane Richardson, Dan Christian and Daniel Sams haven’t played much IPL in recent times. Siraj has been seen struggling on Indian tracks, Navdeep Saini had a horrible last season in UAE.
However, their biggest trump card could be Glenn Maxwell. Maxwell has proved that he’s a destructive player and can take on any bowling attack on his good day. Maxwell’s inconsistency and form issues are a matter of worry for the RCB Team Management.
Underrated Young Talent in the form of KS Bharat and Harshal Patel can prove & display their caliber for the RCB side this season.
