Cricket is finally returning in India after nearly a year following the corona outbreak. In February, the England team will come to India to play four Tests, three ODI, and five T20I matches. 

The Indian team will be delighted to welcome back their captain Virat Kohli, who took paternity leave mid-way of the Australian tour. With Kohli coming back into the squad, the Indian batting line-up will look much more potent in the England series than the recently concluded Australia series.

Virat Kohli has been terrific against England in the tests, especially playing in India. He has scored 843 runs against England in nine matches while playing at home at an average of 70.25. His strike rate of 52.33 suggests that Kohli is comfortable scoring runs against the English bowlers in the Indian tracks.

Virat Kohli has played two test series in England. In 2014, he had a horrific tour of England where he scored just 134 runs at an average of 13.40 in five test matches. His highest score in that tour was 39. 

In 2018, Kohli came back strong against the English bowlers as he scored a total of 593 runs in five matches. He scored two centuries; his highest being 149.
