South African batters are in good form. Temba Bavuma was brilliant during the test series and would want to continue in the ODI series as well. Rassie Van Der Dussen, too, looked good while playing the red ball. Janneman Malan will be the player to watch out for. Marco Jansen could be the game-changer for South Africa. 

KL Rahul has confirmed that he will be opening. Shikhar Dhawan is likely to be the second opener.  Middle-order will consist of Virat Kohli and either Shreyas Iyer or Suryakumar Yadav. 

Venkatesh Iyer is likely to make his ODI debut and play as a finisher. R Ashwin will be making his ODI comeback. Jasprit Bumrah is likely to play unless they give him a rest and play Prasidh Krishna.
