South African captain Dean Elgar plays a knock of unbeaten 96 runs as he leads his team to a maiden test win against India at The Wanderers Johannesburg. South Africa have levelled the series 1-1 with the last test to be played at Cape Town from 11th January.

Mohammad Shami gets the much-needed wicket for India as he dismissed Rassie van der Dussen for 40. Rassie & captain Dean Elgar etched a partnership of 82 runs in 160 balls for the 3rd wicket before the former fell.

Play To Start At 7:15 PM

In a bit of good news coming in from The Wanderers, Johannesburg. The rain has stopped and super soppers are at their work. The play is scheduled to start from 7:15 PM IST, and a maximum of 34 overs will be bowled in the day.


TEA

Officials on the field as Tea is taken on Day 4. The play is being delayed due to wet outfield. On the bright side, however, it has stop raining and we should soon have a time for the start of play 


LUNCH

Lunch has been taken on Day 4 without any play due to consistent drizzle. More rain is forecasted for the day and it is highly unlikely any play can happen today.


Start Delayed At Wanderers' Due To Rain

The start of Day 4's play has been delayed due to bad weather at Johannesburg


There is a cloud cover over the Wanderers Stadium with a bit of drizzle. 


Day 3 saw India getting to 266 before getting bowled. India took a 239 run lead, setting South Africa a target of 240 runs to chase with more than two days left. In reply, South Africa lost two wickets and ended the day at the score of 118/2.
