South Africa finally lose Dean Elgar through DRS, and finish the day on 101/2, needing another 111 runs to win. Shami picked up Markram while Bumrahd dismissed Dean Elgar.

Mohammad Shami strikes in the 8th over of the innings as opener Aiden Markram walks after scoring 16 off 22 balls with 4 boundaries. Markram chases after a full-length inswinger, the ball catches the outside edge and flies to KL Rahul in the 3rd slip who completes the catch.

U Yadav goes for a duck, Rabada gets his third wicket

Umesh Yadav goes for a 10-ball duck as India lose their 8th wicket. Rabada pitches the ball in the channel around off, and Yadav couldn't stop himself from poking the ball. The ball swings away just a bit finds the outside edge and Verreynne makes no mistake. India lose their 8th wicket

Ngidi gets his third wicket; Thakur goes for 5

Shardul Thakur goes back after scoring 5 runs in 13 balls with 1 four. Lungi Ngidi picks his 3rd wicket of the spell. Ngidi pitches a full delivery around off, Thakur is drawn into the drive, overbalances in his footwork. Ultimately, the ball shapes away to take the edge of Shardul's bat and wicketkeeper Verreynne completes the catch. Seventh wicket down for team India.

Ravichandran Ashwin has been dismissed by Lungi Ngidi, who picks his second wicket. Ashwin scored 7 runs off 15 balls before he thick-edged the ball to Marco Jansen at gully. India loses their sixth wicket.

Virat Kohli out! India lose their 5th wicket

Lungi Ngidi gets his first wicket of the innings as he gets the important wicket of Indian captain Virat Kohli who remained as the highest scorer in the match till now. Kohli scored cautious 29 runs off 143 balls before playing a loose shot outside the line of off stump, only to edge one to Aiden Markram, who jumps at full stretch to complete the catch. India loses their 5th wicket.

India extend their second innings lead to 143 runs with 6 wickets in hand at the end of 1st session on Day 3. India scored 73 runs in the first session while South Africa picked up 2 Indian wickets in the first two overs of the day. Rishabh Pant (51*) and Virat Kohli (28*) are at the crease for team India, with an unbeaten stand of 72 runs between them for the fifth wicket.

Cheteshwar Pujara dismissed on 2nd ball of the day

Keegan Petersen takes an incredible catch while diving towards his right in the leg slip. Marco Jansen gets his 2nd wicket of the innings, Pujara goes after scoring 9 runs.

Day 2 saw South Africa getting bowled out for 210 runs. Keegan Petersen top-scored with 72 runs. Jasprit Bumrah picked his 7th five-wicket haul and helped India get a lead of 13 runs. In reply, the visitors lost both openers and ended the day with a score of 57/2. Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara will take the strike with a 70-run lead.
