The 11th edition of the most prestigious cricket tournament - 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand in february-March 2015. The world cup will be played between 14 February to 29 March 2015. Overall 49 matches will be played at 14 venues in Australia and New Zealand. The final match of the tournament will take place at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia. 2015 world Cup will have 14 teams competing for the title.
The tournament will feature 14 teams, the same number as the 2011 World Cup.The format is the same as the 2011 edition - 14 teams will take part in the initial stages, divided into two groups of seven each;
