On one hand, Indian fans were rejoicing in Chennai Super Kings' 4th IPL title celebrations but the next morning brought some sorrowful news. An upcoming Indian cricketer, Avi Barot, suffered a cardiac arrest while in his sleep due to which he passed away.

The whole cricketing world is in utter shock and despair as the player was just 29 years old. The news of his demise has shocked the country as just 24 hours earlier Avi had shared a video of his batting practice in nets on his Instagram story. He probably didn't have an idea that he won't be able to wake up the next morning.

After Avi's demise, Saurashtra Cricket Boards has also expressed grief. Avi Borat has captained the Under-19 team and in 2021, he also smashed a cracking century in T20.

Barot's capability can be judged by the fact that he was acclaimed with the title "Under-19 Cricketer Of The Year" by BCCI in 2011. Undoubtedly, this loss is also a loss for Indian cricket, as they lost one of the promising upcoming talented cricketer.
