30/9: Sri Lankan Clubs Play The Lowest Scoring Tied Game
Galle Cricket Club and Kalutara Town Club played the lowest scoring tied game ever recorded during a domestic T20 tournament.
On what turned out to be a unique day in cricket history, two Sri Lankan clubs - Galle Cricket Club and Kalutara Town Club - played the lowest scoring tied game ever recorded during a domestic T20 tournament.
In the group D fixture, the match had a delayed start due to constant rains and eventually got reduced to six overs per side. Galle opted to bat first and lost nine wickets as they crawled to 30 runs in six overs.

For Kalutara, left-arm spinner Inshaka Siriwardena picked the five wickets in his two overs for just five runs including four wickets in just one over.
In reply, Kalutara had a similar batting collapse and they too went on to score 30/9 at the end of six overs and the match resulted in a tie. No one from the Kalutara club could go past the double figures.
In the whole game, apart from Inshaka's fifer, four batters were run out including two stumpings. A total of one six was hit in the entire game and no fours. The highest score was by Galle's opener Kawsitha Kodithuwakku - 12 in 10 balls.

Major Clubs T20 Tournament is currently being held in Colombo which is expected to have an impact on the new signings for the Lanka Premier League in August later this year. This is the reason why several matches were rescheduled as the Sri Lankan Cricket Board wanted this tournament to happen.
