Hyderabad beat Bangalore by 7 wickets

20th May, Hyderabad beat Bangalore by 7 wickets at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday. With this defeat, Royal Challengers Bangalore have missed out on a place in the Indian Premier League playoffs.

D Warner (Man of the match) : It is very different when you bat at top and in the middle overs. Got good partnership with Dhawan. Thanks to curator as they produced a good track. We kept backing our instincts. Credit to Dhawan as he played well and carried on after the good start, previously he had starts but couldn't carry on. I will play anywhere in the position according to the situation demands. 

D Sammy : It felt good, we needed a win, good for fans as they turned up in good numbers. At the start 150 looked a good total, We got good start and chased it down.  ABD and Kohli played well. Couple of good overs in the death from Bhuvi and Steyn that brought us back in the game. We still haven't played out best, we want some of the results to go our way.

Virat Kohli: We did well to score 160 in that wicket. Hyderabad batted brilliantly. They played brilliant cricket and the wicket played better under lights too. I wanted to step up for the team and wasn't bothered about getting dismissed early. No contribution and team winning is much better than this.
