Afghanistan have already scripted history with a win in the first two games, clinching their first-ever international series against Pakistan. Pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi stepped up with the ball in the ODI, grabbing 2 wickets for just 19 runs in his 4 overs, including a maiden. Rahmanullah Gurbaz was the top scorer for the Afghan team with 44 runs while Ibrahim Zadran scored 38 runs. Najibullah Zadran (23*) and Mohammad Nabi (14*) in the end guided the team to a win.
