Angelo Mathews ruled out of T20I series against Bangladesh

Sri Lanka team’s White-Ball Captain Angelo Mathews; who suffered a right hamstring tightness during the concluded Tri-Nation Series in Bangladesh, will not take part in the two T20I matches, the team is set to play against Bangladesh.

His participation in the ‘’Nidahas Trophy 2018’’ will be made after an assessment of his medical conditions.

Test captain Dinesh Chandimal, who took over the captaincy from Mathews half-way through the tri-nation series in Bangladesh, will lead the team in the two games.
