WI vs IND - A name which has constantly been popular on the internet due to not getting enough chances in the Indian team - Arshdeep Singh. Despite performing well, the bowler has received lesser chances to represent the Indian team. However, the bowler struck in his very first over in the 1st T20I against West Indies after getting smacked.

Arshdeep was given the responsibility to bowl the second over of the innings. West Indies, chasing a target of 191, had to get to a good start. Kyle Mayers was on strike for the first delivery, and walked forward and across, launching the length ball over long-on for a six. This was Arshdeep's first delivery in West Indies.

Arshdeep followed with a full delivery outside off, and Mayers thumped a lofted drive over extra-cover for a four. On the next delivery, Arshdeep did a good changeup, dug in short outside off. Mayers walked into the shot and was late while trying to bail out and popped it straight to mid-wicket where Bhuvneshwar took a simple catch. Mayers was dismissed after scoring 15 runs off 6 balls with 2 fours & a six.

Earlier, India posted 190/6 in 20 overs with the help of captain Rohit Sharma's knock of 64 runs in 44 balls with 7 fours & 2 sixes. Dinesh Karthik finished off in style with an unbeaten 41 runs off 19 balls with 4 fours & 2 sixes. Earlier, West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran won the toss & opted to field first against India in the 1st T20I. This match is being played at Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad.
