Australia VS India Match Preview:
Australian batsmen led by stand-in captain Mathew Wade were terrific in the last game. They set a challenging score, with each batsmen contributing well in the innings. With Marcus Stoinis back in the playing XI, the Aussies have more variety in their batting since he can be used anywhere in the lineup. Glenn Maxwell, who had a great ODI series, hasn't looked comfortable in the shorter format. However, he will still be a key player for Australia with both bat as well as the bowl.

The SCG has been terrific for batting so far this tour. No bowler got spared in the last T20I. Daniel Sams, despite getting a priced wicket of Virat Kohli, conceded runs at with an economy of more than 11 on his debut. Adam Zampa, too, went ineffective. It will be interesting to see if the management brings back Josh Hazlewood for a dead rubber to strengthen the bowling. Marcus Stoinis didn't bowl in the last game, it's unclear if he will be bowling fit for this match as well.
Indian batsmen pulled off a brilliant chase in the last T2OI, with healthy contributions from each batsman. KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan started well, making the best use of the powerplay. Virat Kohli played a cameo of 40 off 23 balls. Hardik Pandya and Shreyas Iyer finished the chase in style. Sanju Samson has looked good in both the matches but has failed to convert it into a big inning. Mayank Agarwal could get a chance to get into the playing XI in place of either Samson or Kohli; if he opts to sit out for this game.
Even though India didn't play Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, the bowlers have done well to keep the pressure on the opposition. T Natarajan has been the find of the tour. Shardul Thakur has been impressive. Yuzvendra Chahal, despite being expensive in the last match, has done well in the T20 series. India won't be changing their bowling line up for this game.
India has taken an unassailable lead in the series, however, they would want to finish the T20 series on a high and take the winning momentum into the test series. Australia will try to avoid a whitewash at home.
