Indian batsman Rohit Sharma has cleared his fitness test at the National Cricket Academy(NCA) on Friday and is likely to catch the flight to Australia in a 'day or two'.
The final decision will be taken by BCCI, however, Rohit is expected to be available for the final two tests against Australia as soon as he finishes his quarantine period of 14 days.

Rohit injured his Hamstring while playing in the Indian Premier League(IPL) and was left out of the initial squad announced by the BCCI. He was, however, named in the Test squad after a week in the updated team list.
After the completion of IPL on November 10, Sharma flew back to India for personal reasons, which created confusion over his availability even in the Indian camp. He joined NCA to do rehab on 19th November alongside Ishant Sharma, who got eventually ruled out of the series.
Rohit Sharma was under the watchful eyes of NCA director Rahul Dravid throughout this period, who has now given the green signal of an Indian batsman's return to the Indian team.
