The second edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL 2024) kicked off with a match between the two finalists of the first season. The second game will be played on Saturday at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore Women will take on the UP Warriorz to start off the new season. RCB had a poor season in 2023 and finished in fourth place, while UP did well to make it to the top four. But this is a completely new season, and a win in the first game will certainly help to get going.
