Kolkata,26 March। The International Cricket Council (ICC) has slapped a fine on Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and his men for a slow over-rate against India in their last World Twenty Group 2 fixture.
Match referee Chris Broad imposed the fine after Bangladesh were ruled to be one over short of the target when time allowances were taken into consideration. As per the rules, Mashrafe was fined 20 percent of his match fee while the other players received 10 percent fines, reports bdnews24.com.

Mashrafe pleaded guilty to the offence and accepted the proposed sanction, doing away with the need for a formal hearing.
Bangladesh bowed out of the showcase event losing the match by just one run. They will take on New Zealand in their last Group 2 match on Saturday at Kolkata's Eden Gardens.
