Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) physician Debashish Chowdhury said they were yet to get details of his condition. “It’s been confirmed that he has been diagnosed with dengue,” he said. “I’ve spoken with the doctor at the hospital.”

Mashrafe’s one-year-old son Sohel, too, has been suffering from high fever for the past several days.
