Hyderabad, Oct 21 (IANS) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Tuesday decided to initiate legal proceedings against the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and also cancelled all bilateral series' against the Caribbean nation whose players withdrew from the tour of India mid-way last week.

"BCCI will initiate legal proceedings against the WICB due to the abrupt cancellation of this tour," BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel said in a statement after the board's working committee meeting here Tuesday.

The Dwayne Bravo-led visiting team was to play the fifth One-Day International (ODI) at Kolkata and a one-off Twenty20 International at Cuttack followed by three Tests at Hyderabad, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

"All bilateral tours between BCCI and WICB also stand suspended," Patel added.
