Let's take a look at the best impact players to watch out for in the KKR vs RR IPL match today:

Trending

1) Nitish Rana - The KKR middle-order batter has done decently in this season so far. Rana has had starts but hasn't converted them to a big score - 21(17), 10(5), 0(2), 8(7), 30(20), and 54(36).

Against RR, Rana could have a good outing since he will be facing at least eight overs of spin from Yuzvendra Chahal and R Ashwin. Rana has hit limitations against high pace but he can smack off-spin well (Avg 29, SR 163) and show intent vs leg-spin (22 Avg, SR 123).

If arrives in the middle overs phase, Rana can set himself up playing against two spinners and then launch against pacers later in the inning where his strike rate goes up to 171.

2) Yuzvendra Chahal - The star leggie has had a brilliant start to the season, picking 12 wickets in five games at an economy of 6.8. Chahal has been doing excellently in the company of R Ashwin, who controls the scoring rate from the other end.

Chahal's battle vs KKR batters will be an interesting one since they keep high intent while facing leg-spin. Shreyas Iyer and Nitish Rana are decent hitters of spin while Andre Russell (Avg 41, SR 146) absolutely smashes leggies around the park.

3) Sunil Narine - Despite only taking four wickets this season, Narine has looked at his lethal best. Narine has an economy of five this season - the best among bowlers who have bowled at least 10 overs so far. Narine has a dot percentage of 44%.

The batters are basically trying to play him out and attack the rest of the bowlers. If KKR has a good start and the Rajasthan's fragile batting lineup gets exposed early, Narine could be very hard to play.
