With 2014 World Twenty20 Super Ten stage about to start, the women’s T20 World Cup is also about to begin. People believe that promotion of women’s T20 World Cup is less as compared to men’s T20 World Cup. But former Indian skipper Anjum Chopra is totally opposed to such beliefs. Anjum discussed about many such issues with Cricketnmore.com. Here is a brief conversation:

Q – The Women's world T20 is starting from 23rd March. Don't you feel it is less promoted as compared to Men's T20 World Cup?
A-No not at all, infact now, since 2009, men and womens world T20 are played at the same time and the semis and finals precede the men’s games and are also broadcasted. So people actually get to see the games live on TV and enjoy both the games on the ground as well as with the same ticket.

Q - What are India's chances in T20 World Cup (Both Men & Women)?
A-We always go into the world cup thinking that we have a chance and can win the tournament. I strongly feel that both our teams (Men & Women) hold a very good chance this time too.

Q –Which team do you think has strong chances for the T20 World Cup title?
A-In this format, it’s very difficult to predict the result. I think all teams are strong and as I said all go into the tournament thinking that they can win the event.

Q -Who can be a trump card for Team India in Men's T20 World Cup?
A-Trump card! I would rather say that a collective performance is required.

Q –Do you think that India's poor performance in recently concluded Asia cup will affect their show in T20 world cup?
A-Not at all. Both are two different tournaments and different events all together. Plus these are different formats of the game.

Q -Which department is the weakest in the current Indian Squad and what will be its impact on T20 world cup.
A-Bowling looks a concerned angle at the moment, but it all changes in a jiffy as whichever team plays better cricket in the match day, wins.
